From there, the MECC and MEWC competitions run at HyperX Arena Las Vegas all the way to the finals on Day 3: players race the clock on real business cases, on a 50-foot LED wall, in front of a live crowd.

What are the dates and where is everything?
Monday 30 November to Wednesday 2 December 2026. Masterclasses are in the Luxor Egyptian Ballroom, the MECC and MEWC competitions are at HyperX Arena Las Vegas, and lunch is included every day.
Do I have to choose between sessions?
No. There is one masterclass track running all three days, so everyone sees every session. The Excel Esports Gaming Room runs continuously alongside it if you want to try Excel Esports yourself.
Can I compete in the Excel World Championship?
Yes. The Last Chance Qualification Round on Day 1 is open to every training camp participant, and you can qualify for the Microsoft Excel World Championship from there. Bring a laptop.
Do I need to be an Excel expert to attend?
No. If you have basic Microsoft Excel or financial skills and want to go further, you'll get real value. You don't need to be a pro to benefit from the training camp.
What topics get covered?
Data and automation: cleaning data with regular expressions, and building Excel reports once so they refresh forever.
AI and Copilot: using AI to speed up your existing Excel tricks, using AI as your personal Python coder in Excel, and how people actually use Copilot in the real world.
What's next in Excel: a session from Microsoft on the freshest Excel feature and the future of Excel.

Yes. Masterclasses use real-life business cases, and you'll need a laptop to compete in the Last Chance Qualification Round. The venue has tables and power outlets for charging.
