MECC Team Quarterfinals
MECC Team Quarterfinals will take place on Day 1 of The Active Cell training camp. Each school may form any number of teams, consisting of three students each, to compete for one of 20 spots at the MECC Team Semifinals at the HyperX Arena. Each team must include at least one student who has qualified through one of four paths: Team e-Invitationals, MECC Regionals, School Rankings, or Qualification Round.
MECC Team Quarterfinals
MECC Team Quarterfinals will take place on Day 1 of The Active Cell training camp. Each school may form up to two teams, consisting of three students each, to compete for one of 20 spots at the MECC Team Semifinals at the HyperX Arena. Each team must include at least one student who has qualified through one of four paths: Team e-Invitationals, MECC Regionals, School Rankings, or Qualification Round.
Day 2
MEWC Quarterfinals
The MEWC Quarterfinals bring together players from multiple paths, including
those who qualified in the Day 1 Last Chance Qualification Round and
those who earned their spot by being top players in the regular season
competitions. These top MEWC professionals compete for coveted
spots in the MEWC Semifinals. Players will face two games in an all-vs-all format.
MEWC Quarterfinals
The MEWC Quarterfinals bring together players from multiple paths, including those who qualified in the Day 1 Last Chance Qualification Round and those who earned their spot by being top players in the regular season competitions. These top MEWC professionals compete for coveted spots in the MEWC Semifinals. Players will face two games in an all-vs-all format.
MECC Semifinals
The MECC Semifinals also feature players and teams who have qualified in a similar dual-path approach: some from the Day 1 Last Chance Qualification Round and others as top players or teams from the regular season competitions.
Individual Semifinals:
Top student players will compete for 12 spots in the MECC Individual Finals on Day 3. The game will be played in an all-vs-all format, with the top 12 players based on their scores advancing to the MECC Individual Finals.
Team Semifinals:
Top student teams will compete for 4 spots in the MECC Team Finals on Day 3.
Day 3
MEWC Semifinals & Finals
The highlight of the Excel Championships is the MEWC Semifinals and Finals. Throughout the year, participants have been competing to reach these stages.
MEWC Semifinals:
24 professional players will compete in two rounds to become one of the 12 best Microsoft Excel users around the world. MEWC Semifinals will consist of 16 players qualified from the MEWC Quarterfinals and 8 qualified from Online rounds.
MEWC Finals:
The best 12 Microsoft Excel professionals will compete for the MEWC Champion title and belt in an elimination-format Finals game. The best MS Excel user in the world will be determined in a 30-minute, all-vs-all format, high-paced game.
MECC Finals
The 12 best student players will compete to claim the title of MECC Individual Champion. The 4 best student teams will compete in a 30-minute game to be crowned MECC Team Champions.
Award Ceremony
Once the competition has come to an end, it’s time to celebrate! The day will end with an awards ceremony, honoring the top performers from both MEWC and MECC with their awards.
MECC Finals
When the competition is over and Champions identified, it is time to celebrate! The day will culminate in an award ceremony, where the top performers from MEWC, FMWC, and MECC will receive their well-deserved and stunning prizes!
Award Ceremony
The 12 best student players will compete in an elimination format to claim the title of MECC Individual Champion. The 4 best student teams will compete in an elimination format to be crowned MECC Team Champions.
