How to Use AI as Your Personal Python Coder in Excel

You don’t need to know Python to use it! Excel now runs Python natively with the =PY() function, and AI can write that code for you.

Some songs make me run. Some put me on the couch mid-workout. I logged 1,000 workout sessions, and in this live session I train a machine learning model on that log, inside Excel, without writing a single line of code: AI writes the Python, I direct it in plain English. We test the model, the audience plays against it, and it ends with the playlist that will finally get me in shape.

In this hands-on hour, you’ll solve a real analysis problem that Excel formulas alone can’t handle, without writing a single line of code yourself. An AI assistant writes the Python, but you need to learn the rules of the game. Along the way, you’ll understand how to prompt AI so it gives you short, Excel-ready code instead of a 200-line monster. You’ll leave knowing how to do the same thing with your own data.

Learning Objectives

During the session you can expect to see:

A real machine learning model, built and trained live in Excel with =PY()
AI writes all the Python; I direct it in plain English
Train it, test it, read the model’s brain. No jargon
Audience vs. machine: you vote before the model reveals its predictions (and yes, you’ll hear the data)
The finale: a prediction about me that nobody saw coming
